One thing that gets me is the suggestion that they should make this decision before Election Day. They do!!! It’s called the budget!!! It comes out in June!!!!! The tax rate decision just decides how it’s paid for. if you’re mad about what’s being spent, put your anger there! #worcpoli #mapoli

Ohhh I get so mad about this. I really get mad about people who don’t show up to (bigger) meetings but send their dang AI note taker. Cmon!!!!

I’ve spent a lot of time browsing possible routes from my home to work … hopefully I can find one that feels relatively safe lol

Yessss. I see an e-bike in my future as well! Though, pretty far off at the moment lol. Replacing a lot of my own daily trips with an e-bike seems totally doable (you know, as long as I also feel safe haha). And, they're relatively affordable now too, which is great

In 2025, I got more into cycling. In 2026, I definitely resolve to drive less.

Cars are expensive. I spent all that money on gas, insurance, and I had to get a lot of maintenance on my car this year (unfortunately). It cost me about $0.92/mile to drive my car. Obviously, this total fluctuates year to year.

While my car let's me go where I want, it has been expensive. This year, I got into cycling. In 2026, I definitely resolve to drive my car less.

I drive a hybrid, which keeps track of electric miles. About 47% of my total mileage consists of those battery miles. In total, I drove for 328 hours, averaging 29.83 hours a month.
