I don’t want to be rude, but man the comments on articles like this bum me out. No one knows how governments, especially local governments, work

Don’t get the opportunity to take the MBTA regional rail to work very often, but always a pleasure to skip the traffic!

Didn't realize the 2025 MBTA Passenger Survey results released earlier this summer.

In honor of a "Week Without Driving," here are how riders responded to the question about the number of usable cars per household. 29% of Worcester riders report having ZERO! (42% of all MBTA riders report zero)

I did my part and voted early in the #worcpoli preliminary election!! Happy to vote in the at-large AND district E primaries!

Just the dumbest, unimaginative take. streets are congested because many feel they have no choice than to drive themselves in vehicles that weigh thousands of pounds.

Our use of streets is INefficient, and advocating for bike lanes is advocacy for efficiency

(3) Fullmetal Alchemist. This manga meant THE WORLD to me when I was a kid. Hot Topic had the stop watch, I wanted it so bad. Heck, I even wanted Ed's coat. I watched Brotherhood recently and it is just so good. I just couldn't wait for the last few chapters, I remember reading fan translations

(2) A Farewell to Arms. I wouldn't go so far as to say this book broke me or anything like that but sheesh. Hemingway wrote a strong one with this one, its sad and melancholy and tragic -- it really is a perfect "war novel"

The first book I have to mention is "The Hobbit." It's probably been a decade since I read it, but as a kid I read it at least once a year. Maybe its cliche, but its such a wonderful work, and worth returning to over and over!

Ok so I came across this letter in the Worcester Telegram today complaining about the police in June 1970 and the first paragraph is just so wild:

“Having resided in your decadent municipality for a fortnight…” dudes rock

Scranton, PA has a very similar Civil War monument as Worcester, MA!

Just thinking about four classics. I’m not really a fan of John Wayne, but really enjoyed “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance” because of Stewart. “Rope” and “Rear Window” are two Hitchcock greats. And who can forget “It’s a Wonderful Life,” the best Christmas film?
