In London the synagogues are behind tall walls and heavily armed.
So yeah, NYC is still different.

The key word is comparatively. No one including Roxane is arguing that anti-semitism doesn’t exist in NYC. Nor that it hasn’t flared up recently. But COMPARED to most other places it is where being openly Jewish, even now, is accepted.
