Every year my husband buys us new decorations, so our Christmas tree becomes like a tapestry of our lives. He nailed my offering this year. And also bought me the pyjamas featured.

It's been a week, started at 4am morning media round, launched a new protection order, wept with hope. Responded to 2 debates, attended many VAWG activism events, met some inspiring women, debated right to die, wept with both grief & hope. Now watching Saturday Kitchen with the cat - perfection.

My son to remember Bible quotes for RE GCSE has cheekily decided to pin them around my kitchen which has made making a morning cup of tea like being in a convent.

My son just put bins out and picked this out of recycling to present to me as I worked. The 25% of great days out offer is a none to subtle hint about what I have laid on for him in the summer holidays. My dad used to say " being bored was bourgeois". What does he want I let him do the bins?
