The sun came out on our afternoon walk! Here is the birthday girl once more ❤️

Today is Fiona’s 2nd birthday - her first with us! We went to a fancy pet store and got treats and this coat for her.

Dog update: the dogs are good. Kelly has a slight limp that we are keeping an eye on.

When we watch a movie, I usually try to find someone else posting about it to work from - but I see no footprint here for Rats! Which is a movie that manages to have strong 2007 vibes while also being truly insane.

It all hits, but this one especially so - PHAP is how I started my public health career. I don’t know where I’d be without this opportunity.

We learned today that Bob’s Red Mill is closing their cafe and shop in Milwaukie 😩
A sign reads: “The Bob's Red Mill Whole Grain Store and Café is closing up shop after 21 years of doing business and making memories in Milwaukie, Oregon. February Ith will be the last day the Café is open, and February 17th will be the last day the Store is open. We will be forever grateful to our amazing customers and the local community for your support over the years.” You will still be able to find your favorite Bob's Red Mill products at grocery stores and online retailers. The entrance to Bob’s Red Mill store - it is styles as a large, red barn life structure that sells products and has a cafe. It closes this weekend.

Kelly, our six-year-old greyhound, is going through something right now and I’m not sure what it is. He seems fine most of the time, but intermittently screams in pain when getting up from sleeping or readjusting his position. This just started yesterday.

Kelly was an excellent patient for his most recent round of tests, and we are finally able to consider lowering his meds. Since the holidays are a bit hectic, we decided to wait until after the new year to taper his prescription. Soon!
