As someone who likes to classify things and who uses those classifications to manage my trope/theme book club, I like having names for things. Yes, a meet cute is a specific event in a romance (aka the inciting incident) but it works just as well as anything else to identify a type of romance

Someone on the other slightly less terrible app said “meet cute” and boy howdy would that make sense if you’re not overthinking it 😂

I was also trying to figure out why it hurt to look at my computer and realized I had to put dark mode back on 🥸
