Venmo and cash app don't like Aussies. Do you have PayPal?

My husband has a spinal cord injury (so now disabled) since last April. Didn't qualify for DSP but he has NDIS funding (thank goodness).
No point in applying for jobseeker as my (very modest) income is apparently too much for it to be worth all the hassle. So we live off my income. 🫠

I think so, yes. We don't want more farmers slipping on stray onions, do we?

White bread + sausage + sauce = sausage sizzle. Most of the time there's also an option of having some fried (grilled) onions too! 😋
Traditionally available at polling stations (or your local Bunnings on the weekend) for a small charge that goes to charity.

I love your no nonsense style. Keep going! 💪

Pretty plants but I LOVE the butterfly specimens! 😍

I was just about to recommend this!

Our rent has been unchanged since we moved in 5 years ago.
This is why we don't move, despite the actual hole in our bathroom floor. Husband has mobility and balance issues thanks to a spinal cord injury. But hey, what's a serious fall/trip hazard when the rent is cheap! 🤷‍♀️

This speaks to me on a level I'm not ready to understand.

This was Easter last year and I don't remember being given an option to join in the ambulance but it was a bit hectic at the time.
We were able to pay the bill in installments so it was manageable I guess. So it goes.

We learnt that the hard way. It was about $1300 for a 15 minute ride to The Alfred. Ouch. 🤦

I remember my mum once planned some food scraps in the garden. We ended up with a bunch of random tomatoes and the most delicious cantaloupe I've ever had.

That's cool but they need to bring back the rainbow crochet bucket hat. Now THAT was high fashion!
September 26, 2025 at 7:36 AM
Cool cool. I'm also looking forward to arguing with them about AFOs because my husband doesn't want to be stuck in a wheelchair every time we leave the goddamn house. "Access to community", right? 🫠🤦

Yeah her and her husband were so evil.

Majd, you do not need to ask for forgiveness. You are all doing the best you can. I hope that one day soon, Mona will be able to enjoy as many creme caramels as she wants!

It's all you can do. One moment at a time.
I don't have much, but I chipped in a little money for you. I hope you are able to get a feed. ❤️

I see you Sharif. I'm so sorry this is happening. You don't deserve it. Nobody deserves this.

My husband has a spinal cord injury. He can't pee without catheters. 5 a day. We've already joked that the first place we're hitting up if everything goes pop is the supplier warehouse. 😂🫠

China basically assumed the US was going to pull this kind of nonsense months ago, and planned accordingly.

No! Mass extinction first, then you can have a bit of communism. As a treat! 🫠
