I did get that but there was also the stuff about the grandad's house being "cursed" and he was acting weird in the home videos.

I read into it being a demon that preyed on the family in some way. They kept joking that the grandad's house was cursed and you do see him looking behind him in one of the old home videos. I like your interpretation though!

It's exhausting, isn't it?

Probably not the best way to start the day but I am ranting on Instagram

Totally. I love horror for that reason. Was chatting to a friend who said they wished they'd explained more about the supernatural element in GB but I loved that we only knew as much as Indy did.

Yes!! Isn't it lovely? I mean for a horror film! 🤣

Two films by the same writers/directors, who are twins! Very very good Australian horror films with a very distinctive feel to them.

That dog was incredible! I agree but I also think you were left to kind of make up your own mind, like you just got as much info in the film as Indy did.

Have you seen Talk To Me and Bring Her Back?

I think I was into the concept enough to really like it! I think it could have pushed a tiny bit harder on the supernatural stuff but I like that it was inventive and did a lot with very little.

If I see a horror film that really gets to me, I have to watch it again almost straight away. I don't know why! Possessor got watched 3 times in 2 days.

I did too! 🤣

It was really bloody sad! You felt sorry for everyone involved, even Laura.

I think a big fear of change and not understanding a lot of how stuff works.

With older gens. it's like they go nuts when introduced to anything other than their usual few sources of news. It's so weird.

I've had a chat with my 9 year-old about certain things to look out for on YouTube vids (he watches mainly gaming channels) and why they're bad and to let us know if he hears anything (like incel-sounding shite). Can't believe this has to be managed for parents too.

I'm not a fan of the GOTG films at all and I didn't get that vibe. I just liked that it was something different for the Predator universe!
