I don't like buying concert tickets all that far in advance, but they went onsale this morning at 11a CT and I got me one. There ain't many people I wanna see perform live, but if they're coming to Des Moines? Why the hell not.

I saw it at a cheap theater in North Little Rock (they had kettle corn!) and it might've been the best experience I've had. Second? The Incredibles at a theater in Scottsdale, AZ. Audience applauded after it was over.

The bills don't pay themselves, so I have to work. Saturday and Sunday. Third straight weekend with a chance of roads impacted by snow. Gotta love Iowa.

Iowa is growing on me. I've been a Hawkeye resident for close to 3 years (this upcoming March). And I drive by the golden dome of the state capitol several times a week, holding back urges to yell out obscenities. ;)
