I have a large stockpot going with chicken broth. Ah, so much fun (/s) having to make EVERYTHING from scratch, when celiac disease has made you suspicious of everything premade. Also up this evening: homemade condensed cream of mushroom soup and French fried onions.

If you have celiac/coeliac disease or are gluten sensitive, see if you can find these Walker’s gluten free shortbread cookies/biscuits at your local grocery store. Holy crap, do these taste wonderful—not like sadness at all! And no tapioca/cassava flour!

Just a reminder that many Christmas/holiday plants are very poisonous to cats (and dogs.) Be careful and keep your plant-munching kitties safe!
