I need halal carts to offer a small size rice platter. There are so many times when I get something less satisfying because I can’t finish a whole one.
Today should’ve been one of those days. But sometimes I make questionable decisions.

If you’re as infuriated as I am that our state legislature has abdicated their responsibility to protect NYers from ICE or from the financial crisis we will face from these federal budget cuts, come to Foley Square next Wednesday to demand they open a special session to pass NY4All + the IONY bills.

Spent a beautiful day in Brooklyn with @nywfp.bsky.social colleagues from across the state. We celebrated our FIVE mayoral primary wins, saw old friends, met new ones, and began thinking about how we build on this foundation to keep electing officials who will fight to protect our communities. ✊🏽

New people are joining every day. It’s not a regular practice on other platforms. I’d forget 90% of the time if another user hadn’t posted about the setting to require alt text when I was new. (Under settings, accessibility.)

I’d never noticed one until I started using iNaturalist to identify plants and critters a few years ago. They look kind of like worms at first glance. Here’s my friend from yesterday. So cute!
