No one elected DOGE. This is a hostile takeover of our government and national research to benefit Musk's companies and Trump's autocracy.
Hearing now that every National Science Foundation grant is having to go through a new “DOGE review”. So existing grants and long term science and technology research having to undergo review by one of Elon’s interns. Huge percentage not passing their muster.

Trump and musk want to take away your SS and Medicaid/medicare to allow them to renew tax cuts for both them and billionaire friends

Confirmed. The article was in the Seattle Times. They declared him “dead,”
cancelled his Social Security and Medicare, then took $5,000 out of his bank account. So much for Musk’s promise that DOGE wasn’t accessing people’s bank accounts. If they can do it to him, they can do it to you, too. Creeps.

Speaker Mike Johnson unveils funding bill one week before potential shutdown
The stopgap measure would keep the government funded through Sept. 30. But Democratic leaders are opposed, and it's unclear if Johnson can pass it with only Republicans.

Elon Musk has siphoned off more money in taxpayer dollars since November than the entire USAID annual budget.

He is the real welfare queen. #fireelon

Rep Fallon wants you to blame folks on food stamps so you won’t fight back when Republicans slash safety nets.

He knows damn well food stamps have work requirements, and the real budget fix is closing tax loopholes for billionaires, not punishing the poor.

Have you noticed they’re gutting the IRS?

If I were on my deathbed and facing eternity, I’d rather be one of those fired USAID workers who helped the poor, than to be one of the super-wealthy in our government who just cut them off.

That's when the minimum wage was set at $7.25 per hour

It's $15,080 per year-which is poverty level

Why do we let billionaire employers get away with paying such low salaries

So their workers qualify for public assistance

Which means we are subsidizing their companies

While they make bank
And here it is.

Bernie Sanders: You don’t think we should change the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour?

Trump Treasury Secretary Nominee Scott Bessent: No
