Despite being advertised as “never worn” and “from a smoke-free home”, your new jacket still apparently needed de-smelling, leaving you to conclude that the seller must have been trying to kill you to ensure your silence.

Still haven't weeded the driveway 5 months later and watching the birds still pecking at the bugs and bits between the gravel has been one of the highlights of my year 😍

MoneySavingExpert's credit club thing sent me an alert this morning so I've logged in for the first time in a while... it's simultaneously telling me that I'm not using credit that's available to me AND that I'm using too much credit that's available to me. Make that make sense 🫠

all the best windows software in history is called something like "joe's thing doer". it does the thing and nothing else and is available on a html website in plain text and takes up under a megabyte of space and uses default windows ui elements and will work until the heat death of the universe

I've changed my phone, & forgot the master password to my 2FA app so can't copy it over. While I still have access I'm migrating 2FA codes elsewhere, but in doing so I've discovered a surprising amount of websites allow you to disable / change 2FA settings without requiring an existing code. 🤯

I decided I want to go back to not drinking, I use this great app I Am Sober a huge part of which is the community feature where you can make friends and get support and motivation, it’s now unavailable for UK ppl due to the online safety act….in case teenagers are illicitly trying to get sober?

I find it weirdly annoying that you can search for an order by ID in WooCommerce but you can't search for a standard post or page by ID.

Potentially taking on a new client so have backed up their site to download and audit it first (pretty standard stuff). Backup completed OK but the host wants to charge extra to download it? This is absolutely outrageous upselling. Looking at you Siteground.

Went to my partner’s grandad’s 90th birthday last weekend.
Many years back I was asked to photoshop my gf’s brother so his hair wasn’t so messy. Naturally I gave him dicks for ears thinking SOMEONE would notice.
The prints are now sun-bleached but they’re still on grandad’s sideboard.

It has been six years since the Gender Autonomy Act was passed in Iceland. In those six years, none of the usual fears that anti-trans advocates warn against have manifested - and trans people, non-binary people and intersex people have enjoyed increased rights and protections.
