I thought the first movement was a bit of a slow burn, but by the time it gets to that passage towards the end of the movement with downward figures in the lower brass - which is my litmus test for a great performance - I found the level of malicious intensity quite astonishing.

More significantly, Covid also messed up the transfer market, which we'd relied on heavily over the previous few years as a key source of income. 2021 was the first year for a long time we failed to make a big sale, and I don't think it's a coincidence that things went south quickly after that.
