I will also say, by way of being roped into things via quote tweet, that I do not think that Matt is a "moral black hole," but I do think he is pretty disengenous about both his analysis and motivations

I think it's a little odd how people go in for this kind of nuclear-strength rhetoric over a disagreement about what issues it is most advantageous to talk about at the margin.
What you need to understand is @mattyglesias.bsky.social is a moral black hole and even then his depraved indifference brand of advice to democrats does not win elections

Second, I think it is very odd to publicly attack someone in writing, and then when they respond to you by saying there is a lot of data to prove your interpretation of things wrong, you just dismiss them as 'the leader of the anti-me bandwagon'. I do not think that's a good way to pursue truth
