Working at places like the library a couple of days a week pays off sometimes.

Ironic, perhaps, but I just started Rhythm of War.

So the thing about knee replacement is that in the future they may need to do a revision surgery, sometimes only to replace that white plastic part.

So I hope someone out there is working on a procedure to arthroscopically remove and 3D-print that plastic part in place. 🙂

4 weeks post knee replacement: I got to 128 degrees yesterday. Every day is leg day 😅. I still get tired easily, am not sleeping great but overall doing well and starting to get more work done.

16 days post-op. PT coaxed my knee to 117 degrees today.

We typically do our cantata for a nursing home as a dress rehearsal. Concert black tonight.

Before and After.

Later I will address the mess inside the panel but now I can shut the door again.

(No, I did not paint, just bad lighting today.)

I finished installing the heater. I would change a couple of things if I had it to do over but it's up and running, doesn't make a lot of noise and was raising the temperature pretty steadily. If we have any cold mornings left I'll see how it does.

Progress. There's a cover plate for the ceiling hole with a hole for the conduit connection that I should get on Saturday so I'll finish up the heater then.

Also some CAT5 to run.

Creepy uncle plays "got your nose", nose not fully restored.

I made another hole in the wall to make it easier to route the large cable (which I'll cover with a blank plate.)

I'm still waiting on a few parts so for now I buttoned up and spackled some of the bad spots.

Drones don't have to fly to be useful - they are good remote cameras. I was in the garage below watching to see where the drill bit emerged.

Imagining church: "And what does the number 7 represent?"

CAN WE TALK ABOUT 6.75 ?!
April 5, 2025 at 12:15 PM
Enough talking, I finally cut some holes and pulled some wire from near the panel to the ceiling where the heater will be mounted.
April 4, 2025 at 9:11 PM
As expected all the runs go straight up and I'm not likely to run into anything if I run left through the stud and up.
March 30, 2025 at 7:12 PM
I'm going to move some of the internet-related wiring behind the wall, then add a circuit for this heater.
March 29, 2025 at 5:36 PM
The goal for today was just to move things out of this corner so I have room to work. The bread proofers are running today so I won't cut power and peek inside the panel yet.

From the attic space above it looks like all the runs go either straight up or right and up but I want to see.
