Yes, all very human scale and modest.

As compared to the homes of Trump and his cabinet, for example, if we’re gonna talk about grift.

All you got is ad hominem, you’re bad at this, but happy Thanksgiving.
November 27, 2025 at 3:52 PM
* a lot

If he’s a grifter he’s not very good at it, he’s been at it for half a century and look at the house he lives in

Yeah, you know I hope for the best for America, I think in crisis there is opportunity and in time this dark period will give rise to new leadership that is more responsive to what the elect wants and needs.
November 27, 2025 at 3:47 PM
Ha yeah Bernie was also too old, but that’s another subject, the point above was that the DNC always picks the nominee by hook or crook and sure, they were both too fucking old. That’s the DNC‘s fault too!

MAMDANI MAMDANI MAMDANI!
November 27, 2025 at 3:40 PM
Oh please.

The DNC certainly picks presidential nominees, that’s pretty much why they exist.

And if you’re living in a world where Joe Biden is more progressive than Bernie Sanders I’m afraid what we have here is a two different worlds problem.

I don’t see any video of that event but it doesn’t surprise me that he is still able to read a Teleprompter for 30 minutes, he’s been doing that for 50 years.

Not exactly a reliable measure of what’s going on in there.
November 27, 2025 at 3:33 PM
Yes, they are both well past their prime.

What I’m saying is the choice between the two of them is a false binary, it doesn’t have to be this way. And it’s good that it’s all falling apart because now at least there’s a chance for new leadership to take the day.
November 27, 2025 at 2:07 PM
I’m an American ex Pat. Voted D for 50 years.

And unlike you, I followed that contest carefully, Clyburn‘s endorsement of Biden was an explicit DNC move to eliminate Bernie Sanders and all others who had the audacity to challenge the corporate oligarchical interests of the DNC.
November 27, 2025 at 1:58 PM
All I know is that when the DNC picked Biden in 2019 he was already way too old to be president. Obviously, in retrospect.

Biden or Trump is a false choice, it isn’t binary, and Americans gotta go through a lot of shit before they figure that out.
November 27, 2025 at 12:57 PM
Fine, if you prefer a non-sentient centipede to a psychotic criminal, that’s a choice.

I think Trump is what your country needs so it can crash and reboot away from the Trumps and Bidens and Harrisses that got you there.

He works at the motor vehicle department. Strong union, apparently.

Opening scene, the entire British intelligence community is gathered at a funeral for agent 009 when SPECTRE ATTACKS.

Old man Bond at first hides from the assailants in a series of clever ways but eventually defeats them with his wits, spectacularly.

Opening credits begin.
November 27, 2025 at 11:55 AM
I get how the Biden story was a massive conflict of interest, but imagine if he hadn’t been taken down and was president now? I doubt he has the sentience of a centipede.
November 27, 2025 at 11:35 AM
Cory, I used to love you but now you’re a pompous mouthpiece for corporate and Israeli money. I am not alone with this opinion.

We are onto you, you represent the Democratic Party of the past, and I’m not gonna listen to anything you say anymore.

Kim Guilfoyle or Sofia Vergara?

Whatevs, let the good times roll.

Tomato tomato.

He’s administering the status quo as if unaware of how tired most Democrats are of his AIPAIC & corporate-funded bullshit.

Whatever kills this wing of the Democratic Party off first wins history.
November 26, 2025 at 7:54 PM
Oh demonize me all you want it was a compliment of the highest order, a figure of speech, a brava to a reporter who perseveres.

Go try to shame somebody else.
November 26, 2025 at 7:46 PM
Hear you loud and clear.

Was just saying, she didn’t get ripped off.

(coming from the perspective of a guy who studied movies and made them and love them. Talking to myself mostly, the old line producer in me, just couldn’t help but admire the decent production value and clear messaging.)
November 26, 2025 at 4:05 PM
I mean I get the problem here but on the level of craft, that’s not a bad political ad. She may be double dipping on the media budget but those guys at strategy whatever do deliver a solid product. They know what they’re doing.
November 26, 2025 at 2:31 PM
You think that’s gonna stop me?

(from admiring her.)
