I am kin to all life, living a walking pace life with donkeys in full public view.
The faster you go the more you miss.
He's absolutely correct.
Global heating is a direct output of building the modern world.
It's the people who tell you we can keep the modern world without heating the planet who are wrong (at best.)

Me too.
March 30, 2025 at 12:26 AM
On the other hand, y'all could come here where we and the donkeys are.

a foundry in another nation in a horsedrawn wagon or a wheelbarrow.
Or even with a 5 mph electric barge.
It's the speed. Take it away, the whole fucking thing stops.
I understand "they" won't. Doesn't change anything.
Really sucked out the hate bots with this one.
I'll go back to sleep.

But I'm not sure he's able to grasp it.
I think we're to "until the French Revolution version 2.0" stage in government.
Damn shame, I guess.

On the one hand, watching His Excrement and His Madnesty destroying the entire US government as established since 1930 is depressing.
On the other hand, most of what they're destroying was already destroying the Earth we can't live without.
Oh, and - fuck Schumer.

15. We're on the Titanic.
The iceberg is behind us.
It really doesn't matter where we put the deck chairs.
But go ahead on.

19. There is no cure. There is no drug. I have absorbed more energy than the system which is me was able to sink without damage.
This is what we are doing to Earth.
With our energy.
With our speed.
The energy she is absorbing also manifests as speed.
Speed is energy.
Energy does work.
Earth hurts.

7. OK, so that's 8,716⅔ HP.
If there were zero loss in the energy conversion from mass at speed to electricity, it would require eight thousand, seven hundred sixteen horsepower of wind pressure to produce that electricity.
There is no process of energy transfer which occurs without loss.

6. According to Wikipedia, the biggest (in capacity) land wind turbines in service today are in the 6 to 7 Megawatt range.
March 14, 2025 at 11:50 PM
5. A 20 kw wind turbine in your back yard could just as easily be called a 27 HP wind turbine. Technically 26.8.

4. One horsepower is a measure of power, which is energy in motion doing work, and its original definition was specifically how many pounds, how far, how fast.
One horsepower is the energy to raise 550 pounds one foot in one second.

I haven't done this in a long time, by I'm going to write a thread tonight.
Today we had some high energy wind, as a sharp transition between atmospheric energy levels moved into our region.
High energy winds can move large masses. That's what energy does, move matter.
Today it moved some of mine.

My buggy barn. Year old building. As of today. High energy atmosphere aka climate change.

My favorite restroom sign in the whole world.

Maybe they should have voted for a government that works for all people instead of one that hurts people they don't like.
Maybe the Democrats should have talked about being one.
Maybe, maybe.

Anybody remember this exchange? I believe it were ... Yesterday?
March 14, 2025 at 1:49 AM
Example:
March 10, 2025 at 11:47 PM
Go ahead on, y'all. Demand more manufacturing. More mining. More freeways. More airports. High speed trains. Billions of kilowatts of wasted haste. Whatever you do - WHATEVER YOU DO - never, ever, deenergize this death race.
For the climate.
March 7, 2025 at 3:15 PM
And then, of course, the Big Lie.
Demand renoobles. That'll fix'em.
March 7, 2025 at 3:05 PM
Well, first we blame Big Oil.
Not industrial society.
Industrial society is fine. All we have to do is power it with pixie dust and unicorn farts.
March 7, 2025 at 3:04 PM
The fucking oil doesn't cause emissions.
Burning it does.
Why burn it?
Because we demand the actions it powers.
The day we stop, poof. No more oil.
But pretend on. Gives us someone to look down on. That's really all that matters.

My friend Sydney's mini donkey has a full dose of the wooly gene. She had me take this pic a couple of years ago and post it as a "photo of a lady shaving her hairy ass."
