The Lurking Horror was extremely good. I have such fond memories of playing it back in the day.

The Lurking Horror is still one of my favorite horror games.
There was a server in the 201X's that had all the infocom games that let you ssh/telnet into, which was an amazingly cool way to relive these games. Especially on a cold, rainy night.
Obviously, because it was cool, it was taken down.
