Prototyping that idea sparked by a @mcconnell.bsky.social post from last year(??). It is not built for the PlayDate at all (it's a gabajillion sprites), but it is built for a crank in mind. I thought about trying this for alt.ctrl, but that means creating a crank controller and having infinite time

I recently had to get rid of/give away a bunch of stuff because of a divorce (especially lot of arcade stuff and monitors), but luckily kept the vast majority of my console games and some arcade boards

I definitely had some, "I'm never going to own or see one of those again" moments

Well, that person tried my daughter saying something pretty cruel, and she wasn't having it and clapped right the fuck back. It was supposedly a big gasp moment.

Talking to her Mom later, I warned her, "That's my Mom in her. We are officially raising a lion."

My favorite of the series as well! So much so I picked up a JP B-board a bit after release AND still bought the JP Saturn port later.

Every character is fun to play, but I definitely mained Lei-Lei, Anakaris, and Jedah. Yeah, yeah yeah: I know Q-Bee and Sasquatch are top tier. Let me have fun.

I picked mine up about 2-3 years ago? I didn't want to figure out mod'ing my PS2 and my modded PS1 was acting up. I wanted an easy solution for both JP libraries and the pink would help me know which PS2 was which

Then I started noticing the same pink/black PS2 combo in other people's set ups :P

I definitely feel you. Game accumulation is a go to for me as well. Like buying the little kid inside me a surprise after having the world kick us while we are down.

Then I promise future me that, someday, we'll sit down and enjoy it with no worries. ;P
