You can't live your life based on hate - that way lies madness and bitterness - but allowing yourself to slip into hater mode from time to time is a lovely little treat, like a drunk cigarette or a decadent slice of cake

I’m closing in on 40 years old. At literally no point in my life has anyone ever told me the US military was too weak. We’ve had the unquestioned most effective military in the world for nearly a century.
Hegseth: "It all starts with physical fitness and appearance. If the secretary of war can do regular hard PT, so can every member of our joint force. Frankly, it's tiring to look out at combat formations and see fat troops. Likewise, it's completely unacceptable to see fat generals and admirals."

I'm officially out of a job--they eliminated mine, and I'm taking severance instead of a wildly different title they offered me that's not at all what I was hired to do. Solidarity forever 🌺, and while I take a breather someone come up with some good ideas of work I could do.
