At this point, sadly, I’ve lost most of my interest in Stranger Things. I’ll be watching this last season because I’ve already invested so much time in the story. HOWEVER, if the shows kills off Steve—the best dad to an unruly bunch of kids—I riot.

I had a major yesterday, so I treated myself with a haircut on Monday. It was time for a change from the shag mullet. Not sure what to call this. Shaggy pixie stacked in the back? Whatever we call it, I’m really digging it. 😊

Bummed that Marvel is shutting down its Ultimate line. Ultimate Spider-Man & The Ultimates are 2 of my favorite ongoing series right now. A happy Peter Parker as a family man? A group of familiar heroes reimagined in really interesting ways? Perfect. I love the books, so of course they get canceled.

Long week. Felt off my teaching game. Behind on writing. Found out my tongue cancer is back. Had it before; it’s treatable, but ugh. But I’m fortunate. I have a wonderful partner. A dog & 3 cats who love me. And @whmpodcast.bsky.social had me smiling w/the new Aliens episode. Listened to it 3 times!

The important things to remember at this time are that at least trans kids can’t play high school basketball, schools aren’t indoctrinating kids with silliness like “history” and “facts,” and the name “Gulf of Mexico” can’t hurt us anymore.
