Honestly? Not sure. When I started to get upset by the vacant look on the kid's face, hubby fetched it for him.

I saw a house once that had a secret compartment with a rollout with the tree on it so you could literally shove it into a hidden space when not in use.

*This being my plan to decorate the Saturday after Thanksgiving... it's December 20th and it might as well be August for how well my house is decorated.

I bought the 10-book series in one audiobook called Ship of Prophecy by an author I'd never heard of before. I've done this dozens of times and never read beyond the first book, so my hopes were low. So far, it was worth the cost for just the first book, #Supercarrier

Thank you! It's always so hard to give myself grace;)

That wouldn't have been my first choice for jumping in... if it's too much I can give you alternatives;)

I know, but the kids love Christmas as much as I do and we regretted not decorating last year (we went out of town for the holiday) so I specifically planned our annual trip for early December so we could decorate. It feels like a failure.

Last time (last year) I bought bags for everything and tissue paper. Made it so much easier. It all came in bulk so I had plenty left over for this year...

Except we haven't gotten the Christmas stuff from the garage so I have to wrap again. Only halfway done because it's exhausting.

It's me. I'm the friend.

We haven't gotten a tree yet so I want to offer alternatives to the family, and while the book tree option does not involve leaving the house, it does require my family to carry lots of books.

Have definitely done that. Hugs.
