Good gravy, even with a "good" job, health coverage is basically a tax haven for those with money! The US system is basically set up to make money and not, you know, actually provide health care.

I've been around the PyGame community trying to help new programmers for a long time now. The introduction of AI has made it so there are more and more new programmers unable to think about how to design a game and just want you to do it for them. It's sad to see, really.

If you are into game design, don't be afraid to just throw things together and see if it works. Don't let AI take the fun parts away from the process and give you the same experience as every other game.

I would love for one day to not have my work Surface laptop randomly lose it's onboard audio. Is it consistent enough for IT to fix? Of course not. So, here I sit, in a meeting, trying to figure out where my headphones went instead of listening to the meeting itself. Brilliant design, Microsoft.

They're probably hoping that not enough authors come forward to collect that they would be unable to financially recover - so if you're an author, it's worth checking LibGen to see if your work has been stolen and used to train AI, tell all your author friends, and take your pound of flesh.
