Has anyone here ever used sushi ginger (or pickled ginger)? We had a jar (340g) given to us but have no idea what to do with it since we're not really sushi people. Looking for some ideas/recipes (hoping to use the whole jar if possible). Tried looking online but didn't have much luck.

To be clear, PP is just as much a threat to Canada as Donald Trump and Elon Musk are to the U.S. and as Hitler was to 1930's Europe. Each of them either were or are about to be Fascist Dictators and we must do everything in our collective power to defend ourselves from them. In addition to the ever-rising threat of fascism and authoritarianism, our country is also facing multiple other crises with respect to the cost of living, housing, disease outbreaks, ongoing pandemics, and foreign interference among others.Meanwhile, despite these existential threats to our country, Cdns, and indeed an international rules-based order, by following through with the promise in your letter you will be handing over Canada to PP and his Cons and their corresponding fascist and authoritarian regime. This means that any and all progress made by this government either of their own accord or via your support in terms of healthcare, dental care, free birth control, diabetes medication, and many other programs will be entirely lost all for the sake of political games and a pension. This is not to say that the Liberals are free of fault with respect to our current situation but for better or worse they are in the best position to counteract the hateful march of the Cons. Therefore, either way those of us who truly believe in the Cdn dream as you claim to, must present a united front against them. Specifically, the NDP, the Liberals, the Greens and the Bloc must put aside their political differences and work together, instead of fighting each other, to do whatever is necessary to protect Canada and Cdns in the coming fight against fascism as no one party will win on their own.Finally, just as I am sure PMJT is doing over the coming days, I encourage you as well to reflect on both your decision to not support this government and on your future in politics. Dear Mr. Singh,I am writing to you today because I am deeply concerned by the contents of your letter as released on December 20, 2024, which suggests you value your own pension or political aspirations over the well-being of Canadians or worse that you yourself are compromised by foreign actors. Whether intentional or not it gives Canadians the impression of being entirely self-serving and directly harms Canada.While I agree with your sentiment of the Canadian dream and that the Liberal Party has indeed disappointed many Canadians, I fear from your words that you do not understand the gravity of our current situation and strongly urge you to reconsider your stance on this matter and rescind your letter of intent. At bare minimum I ask that you please withhold your judgement on this pending the release of the Foreign Interference Report and the approval of Pierre Poilievre's Security Clearance to ensure Canadians are fully informed in time for the scheduled October Election.We are currently facing one of, if not the greatest threat to Canadian Sovereignty and Democracy in our country's history with the incoming U.S. administration and its increasingly authoritarian rhetoric.
