Work that would incentivize the construction of single-use bathrooms, city policy around gender-affirming care for health insurance, updating our code of ordinances that would change gender-specific references, a welcoming city policy, and outreach meant to bring forward community concerns. 5/

Sadly, Black & Latinx transgender women represent a vast majority of these fatalities & experience violence at disproportionately higher rates.

I think about Ra'Lasia Wright, Savannah Ryan Williams, & victims who experienced alarming incidents on Lake Street & throughout Downtown Minneapolis. 2/

Remember when Uber and Lyft destroyed the taxi cab industry which impacted drivers/ workers heavily?
