They are not good old boys clubs. Unless good old boys clubs are about 30% women and 45% minorities. Here’s the class of 2026 profile for USNA, where my son is a midshipman. We do not have any political connections. His 2 best friends (his roommates) are Filipino and Hispanic.

The service academies are not a good old boys club. These young men and women who apply have gone through an extensive process and have to be qualified academically, physically and have a desire to serve. So many people on this app acting like it’s X and posting nonsense.
