I would really love for all the initial concepts and ideas for this franchise’s planned multi-chapter story to be released as comprehensive book one day, because we need to be realistic of what can be practically covered in today’s world, when it comes to modern video game development. So if that/

I do worry that the expectations stirred up by the fake trailer are so high now, that the scope of S4 can’t possibly meet that, from a cost/budget perspective and maybe even down to reusing the same ideas that were initially drafted for Shenmue when it was fully under SEGA, because of “legalities”.

So if anything, I hope the staff see the positive reception relating to the story from this trailer and it influences S4’s development. Even though I enjoyed S3, the story focus was a missed opportunity, so S4 has a lot of ground to make up and I hope the staff recognises that.

Got it repaired, shoutout to CEX for having a repairs service tie in, that still covers some older systems including the ps2. Now I can continue my angry playthrough of Viewtiful Joe /o/
