The answer is clear: Bridget Phillipson needs to send this back to the EHRC and tell them that they need to produce a Code of Practice which outlines how to include trans people in services for their lived gender, not try to mandate exclusion even where the service provider doesn't want this.

The 2011 EHRC statutory services code was the result of almost two years work. Numerous consultations were held with relevant stakeholders, including many women's and trans groups.
By contrast, the proposed 2025 code was assembled within weeks, with a one-month consultation assessed by genAI.
