Didn't you JUST say that Dems shouldn't attack their own?

Why are there rules for us but not for you?

And this is a broader problem with neolibs - "vote blue no matter who" only goes one way (see Schumer/Mamdani).

You're all hypocrites! The post you just made proves it!

"No, this is stupid. If my Democratic senator shoots someone on Fifth Avenue, I would still vote for them because that's what Republicans want!"

You see why you folks are called Blue MAGA?

I did this before and I will do it again. If our military, TSA workers and so many others won’t get paid, then I won’t get paid either.

You ever consider that Dems doing shit like this is WHY people didn't vote for them?

Maybe hold your party and its politicians accountable for their actions instead of blaming the voters

To clarify - to RUN the editor you don't need Rider, just follow the instructions as written on that page. Linux can compile without an IDE.

But if you want to write any code (and not just Blueprint) I can recommend getting Rider partially because of its Linux support

(You shouldn't need to do anything too fancy to get Unreal running once you have the source code, just follow the instructions for Ubuntu. Mint is based on Ubuntu so you're fine.)

I recommend getting Jetbrains Rider for your IDE and compiling from source!

I actually loved Rider so much I use it even on my work machine that uses Windows. It's so much better than Visual Studio. The fact that it runs on Linux is icing on the cake

My guess is that this might be foreign guests who have never used one of these before for whatever reason (cultural thing of not having straw dispensers or w/e).

And many of those guests can't read English anyway so signs do effectively nothing haha

Yeah, that was my reaction as well

The SCOTUS judge who issued the stay actually bothered to explain it this time, and they were stuck between a rock and a hard place:
bsky.app/profile/mike...
KBJ threaded the needle thanks to CA1’s unfinished business.

-if she denied the admin stay, the full SCOTUS woulda stepped in to override her.
-if she immediately referred the case to the full Court, they coulda dragged feet.
-instead she boxed them in to act quickly once she does refer the case.

That's what the one designer who loves it says!

I see the appeal but after so many rounds of Quick Cash it starts to get a little stale. The tournament-like mode (can't recall the name) is fine but just a bit too sweaty for me
November 7, 2025 at 4:29 PM
I have indeed! It's alright on occasion, but I only play with friends. I usually play a lot of roguelikes; been obsessed with Ball x Pit and Deep Rock Survivor recently.

One of the designers I know LOVES The Finals though

Yikes! I feel for you; my fiance was at the ER for 16 hours a few weeks ago, and we've been in and out every week or so since.

We learned to grab the essentials - chargers, snacks, and a Steam Deck

The fact that Knott's is actually competitive against Disneyland right now is crazy (especially during Ghost Town Alive).

And a lot of that isn't down to Knott's getting better (although they have!); the majority is Disney getting worse

Trains can work, too! And they're better for the environment than cars or planes!

Yep, I quit the day after the election. I had a 15-year-old account.
The API protests did a number on the site. All the best users left.
Now it's just right-wing propaganda bots everywhere, plus mods/admins pushing agendas (why is /r/conspiracy still around? Why is /r/AskTrumpSupporters not banned?)
November 6, 2025 at 7:14 AM
And I'm sick of people like you voting for subpar candidates in the primary and then failing to hold them accountable.

You see how many people turned out for Zohran? Compare the enthusiasm for him to the enthusiasm for Harris.

If she put in the work to appeal to folks she would've won. She didn't.
November 6, 2025 at 4:29 AM
I did vote.
Why do you blame the voters instead of holding your candidate accountable?

The candidate's job is to drive turnout. The party's job is to drive turnout.

Why did they ignore the asks of their voters? All they had to do was listen, and they didn't. That's on them, not the voters

I was asked to comment on stuff I have no control over (why we choose platforms to deploy to) which I thought was very weird when I said I was an IC

Assuming that's Pacific time (likely given the race was still ongoing at 6 PM NYC time), the race had been called 30 minutes prior
November 5, 2025 at 5:57 PM
Cool, maybe you should hold the politicians who ran in 2016 and 2024 accountable for not appealing to the coalition they needed to win.

Seeing protests at the DNC only to plug their ears and go "la la la" was not a good strategy. You need those people to vote for you in order to win. Act like it
