It snowed in NJ last night! 🤨

(To the New Hampshirer in my heart, such a puny amount of snow seems impossible. Like going to Costco and buying a single grape.)
Car hood with the faintest scattering of tiny snowflakes. Basically, if you put all that snow together, you would have a single snowball small enough for a chipmunk to throw.

Dachshunds are the most insanely engineered dogs (next to bulldogs) and yet so enduringly cute and sweet. Here’s a pic of my long-gone Yimmy, tail whipping too fast to be caught by modern photography.

When Taffy was a puppy, Mrs. Jay liked the idea of dressing her up in cute coats for winter’s. She did not ask if Taffy liked the idea and Taffy made it clear that she did not.

That’ll buy, what, six boxes of these?
A box of “Little Hug” fruit-flavored drinks in t plastic, barrel-shaped containers with gill lids. A hand in the foreground holds a blue one. No one names the flavors by the actual fruit it’s supposed to mimic; rather, the flavors are just the color of the liquid. And when you’re drinking it and reaching the last sip, it just tastes like plastic.

Yes, Loni Anderson’s spun sugar Aqua Net confection is a justly heralded masterpiece of elegance and improvised personal protective equipment for construction sites.

I think Mom was photoshopped in after the fact and there’s a whole story to it that the frame manufacturers would rather we didn’t ask about.
A new picture frame with the default family photo in it. Dad and kids are looking into the camera. Mom’s got her head tilted away and is looking back to the side of the camera, like she’s making sure it gets her good side but over-corrected and more has no idea where the camera actually is. Meanwhile, Dad looks more like a model than anyone who has time to take care of a family between stem cell skin treatments and the occasional Quaalude.
