Today I've eaten my lunch at Beach Grove in Kaiapoi at the GH show home there.
Mexican Chicken Salad: baby spinach, bbq'd chicken, black beans, corn, radishes, red capsicum, red onion, cucumber, coriander, jalapeños, cumin, olive oil, lemon juice.
A very good time was had by my taste buds.

Zelda just brought her comfort toy, the fluffy she came home from the SPCA with - 2.5 years ago - clomp, clomp, clomp down the stairs, miaowing with it in her mouth, so she can knead it on the couch with me.
Does it GET any cuter?? 🐈⬛😍🥹

My Dad is 84 and has a type of leukaemia. It drives him nuts that he can't do the gardening himself anymore.
I've had a week off and put it to good use!

Had time to do some of my own gardening today, such as it is in the tiny townhouse backyard.
Tomatoes (from Ted), lettuces & snowpeas in the mobile planter (handy for renters!), sweet peas & sugar snaps to grow up the tripod in another.
And look at my tulips about to burst into bloom in the barrel!

Today I smoothed the soil surface and planted two & a bit rows of onion seedlings that Ted had grown from seed.
He hates that he can't do it himself, but is impressed with my speed & dexterity. Ha ha.
