everything in this spread looks either a) uncooked (beans, potatoes) b) dry (potatoes again, turkey, stuffing) c) unseasoned/missing a major ingredient (probably all of it but potatoes once again and macaroni especially) or d) from a box or can (rolls, cranberry sauce)

people definitely have gotten so mad about him (for good reasons!) that they go looking for things to be more mad at him about (these are bad reasons!) - my favorite form of this is when people make fun of him for a gaffe they wouldn't have known was a gaffe if not for the way it was reported
