There was a European style kebab place in Chicago right around the corner from where I lived. Outlasted most of the other businesses until they didn’t. Super tasty. Unbelievable portions.

I got my first acting agent in 2000. It was a co-op. It was run by actors for actors. One day a senior member said to me, "What do you want to do with your career?" Without hesitation, I said: "I want to create my own work." He laughed and said, "That's never going to happen."

Just re-watched Karate Kid 3 with my youngest who is 9. Haven’t seen it since early 90s. I agree with Mike Barnes, LaRusso’s karate is a joke. Glad he got better in Cobra Kai.

My 9-year-old writes scripts instead of prose when doing writing assignments. His teacher told him, "it's not hard to turn a script into prose". I realized that I "well actually'd her", but I had to say, "having turned a screenplay into a novel, I found it very hard." Thankfully, she laughed.
