I’ve seen hundreds of dumb media decisions in my career (especially in the past few years) but this puts them all to shame. To jettison the industry’s most indispensable TV critic—and the only reason many people still read RS—is outrageously stupid and short-sighted.
Some news: yesterday was my last at Rolling Stone. For now, I'm going solo, doing all my TV reviewing, recapping, etc., at my newsletter. I hope you'll consider subscribing. Many more details here:
