Got some great games in for May thanks to attending BGG Spring last week with my brother. Galactic Cruise and Deep Regrets were top favorites!

Spent extra time at home this year diving into games, mostly solo. However, our group campaign with Oathsworn has been the standout! Nearing the end of the campaign, and it’s been nothing short of engaging and satisfying. #bgstats #boardgames

This weekend I lost my Chewie. Today would mark the 9th anniversary that we got him and his brother Han. Chewie was always by my side. The last couple of years he was very sick and I did everything I could to care for him. He is finally at peace. But I will dearly miss him. He was truly a good boy.

Kelp! Octopus vs. Shark! is an engaging asymmetrical two-player game. One player controls the shark, while the other controls the octopus. The shark’s goal is to capture the octopus, while the octopus must evade capture and survive. I adored this game and want to play it again.

Another favorite game from #bggcon was Explorers of Navoria. We played this 3 times and included the expansion for the last play. Nice medium light exploration, bag selection, and tableau builder with cute Root-style art as well. I hope to pick this one up soon!

I’m slowly recapping my time at #bggcon and starting with one of my favorite games of the con! Arcs is a fascinating game using trick taking as the action selection and scoring mechanism while at the same time building space ports and ships and blowing up your neighbors.
