Flying into Chicago at dusk and it is pretty neat to see clouds lit from below.

I have taken many flights and usually small airports are awesome but occasionally they are hilariously bad. At Grand Rapids right now and my flight is hugely delayed because they only have one grounds crew and the flight at A1 was delayed.

Getting rid of the rotting head of Bovino at the top does nothing to clean out the festering wound on America's civic body of an unaccountable and private army.

I never once in my life imagined that the 3rd amendment would have relevance again, but here we are. Fuck ICE. Abolish ICE. ICE OUT.

"He shouldn't have brought a gun to a protest," is "she shouldn't have worn that dress," applied to murder.

I would love for the next Democratic president to have Sherman as a role model.

I saw 20 movies in the theater this year, which was about one every other week, and for funsies, here's my tier list of the ones I saw:

Our house backs up to a working farm but has about 100 yards of trees between it and the actual grass. Apparently, cows enjoy moseying around woods, which I didn't know because it has never happened in the six months we've lived here, and a whole bunch of them came by today.

I started taking piano lessons again this fall after almost 30 years of not taking them and I have found myself practicing two hours a day sometimes and not even noticing the time go by, which is something that almost never happened in my youth, though I loved playing and took lessons for 14 years.

47 trophies for Leo Messi, we're never going to see another player and competitor like him. What a privilege it's been to watch him play.

It's hard for me to imagine how they could have made the World Cup Draw show more boring. It was like they were actively trying to stultify us into a stupor, and the Peace Prize was a laugh out loud farce.

And yet, the actual group draw is still one of the most exciting things in the world!

I have received over 50 emails today asking for donations for giving Tuesday. It's overwhelming and I'm basically just unsubscribing from everything because it's completely absurd.

I can't imagine I'm the only one doing this, it's basically a tragedy of the commons for charitable orgs.

Lots of people sharing this clip because it's funny and cathartic but I also genuinely believe it's important.

We have to win the narrative battle between "I live in a corrupt society and that's just how it is" and "I live in a corrupt society and we are going to defeat and humiliate these ghouls."
Good morning to Brazilian reporter Manuela Borges, who’s been waiting eleven years for this petty moment. ❤️ 🇧🇷

I really enjoyed the replies to this post, some classics as well as a bunch of ones I hadn't seen before.
this is a post where you (yes, YOU) can and should reply with underrated comic strips or other comic-y jokes. could be an unheralded entry from a classic strip or maybe a lesser-known strip altogether.

This is really awful news. Kevin Rideout and his family were some of my dearest friends growing up. We share the same birthday. The situation in Niger has deteriorated so much in just last two years. My thoughts are with his entire extended family.
