In a opinion that is admittedly comic-nerd blasphemy I contend that it wasn't until Lee/Kirby left Sgt Fury that it got good, the Friedrich/Ayers/Severin run the highpoint.

I've been checking out some of the war comics he drew for British publishers that Rebellion has been reprinting. His talents transcends the material he was given.

I remember having breakfast with you in the hotel restaurant and the waitress was the only employee on duty; waiting tables, cooking food, bussing tables, and running the register.

That Robot Archie page is nice. I've really gotten in UK comics the past few years. Discovered a lot of new (to me) artists, especially on the romance titles!
