Speaking as someone who was responsible for hiring actors in 3 big AAA video games, VO is one of the cheapest assets in the game. Gargantuan bang for buck. I think we spent as much on a single character model as we did on all the VO for the whole game.

Back in early 2023, I reviewed Phantom Brigade. A game I was very excited for, but came away a little disappointed. It wasn't *bad* - it had good bones - but not much meat or fat on it.

Back in early 2023, I reviewed Phantom Brigade. A game I was very excited for, but came away a little disappointed. It wasn't *bad* - it had good bones - but not much meat or fat on it.
