My 6yr old son (at 6AM): I think mama is similar to a shrike.
Me: The bird? How is your mom like a shrike?
My son: The shrike eats lizards, snakes, and fish.
Me: Uh huh. So... how is that like your mom?
My son: Because she eats fish too! (Turns and runs full speed out of the room.)

Scripting 65 episodes of a podcast is a pretty good, if inefficient, way to do your prewriting for a novel.
