Wild wild seas this weekend. Orange alert everywhere. Conditions that have killed repeatedly. Avoid the sea in the Canaries, and the coast really, over the next few days if you don't want to be swept away, that is. With an alert in place, the regional Government charges for rescue or body recovery.

Only 5 days left but the annual Guía de Isora social services campaign is well underway to give presents to local children who might otherwise be without anything. Just contact the council and you'll get a letter from a child asking for a dream ...

Given tat at every turn, especially at Christmas markets, I have to say that if you have the chance to go to the Feria de Artesanía in the Recinto Ferial in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, go!

Given tat at every turn, especially at Christmas markets, I have to say that if you have the chance to go to the Feria de Artesanía in the Recinto Ferial in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, go!
