I just tried this non alcoholic soda from Kereru Brewing - star anise & wintergreen. It was delicious! Much better than Root Beer. The $51 cost relates to a 24 pack. And the label designs are so gorgeous!

Most of my family are travelling this month....just got sent this from my Sister...the Taj Mahal!
The Taj Mahal an iconic huge white palace/shrine is thronged by crowds of visitors. Its a love story so its a place visited newly weds. My sister & husband is in the forefront have been married a looong time! They are there with their 3 adult children.

The artichokes are just planted on a bank & are surrounded by marigolds in yellow & feverfew(?) About to flower. Last year we thought they were mysterious bird sown sunflowers 🌻

In pudding related news @mattyangel.com @getcaughtliving.bsky.social I found a gluten free dairy free pudding we can make with rice or almond milk! We taste tested a vanilla one last night. Partner is concerned he's having too much coconut fat (heart health) so wants to avoid coconut yoghurt.
Box for Simply Desserts Chocolate instant pudding, sugar free but contains 2 sorts of alternative sweeteners. I react to some but tolerated this. It was delicious & pleasing.

I was pretty sure that was a pohutakawa just coming out - due to the leaves & colour. My neighbour has a gorgeous southern rata rescued from a free plants bin!

Can you tell i'm on a walk...the cabbage trees (Tī kouka) are blooming & the smell is amazing I LOVE it!
2 x ti kouka wiyh multiple flower heads like pineapple cones of white flowers. The smell is intense like ylang ylang

House improvements: after 7 years we are replacing our atudent flat type light shades. Living Room: Our William Morris complements the fire place.
Living room a willam morris print (birds & flowers in blues & beige/cream) complements the blue tile fireplace & stripey wallpaper. Lots of niknacks on the mantlepiece & mother in laws colourful still lufe painting is a highlight
