When you give to the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada, you are helping advance the work that Dr. Jane cared about: chimpanzees, supporting community-led conservation, and empowering young changemakers.

Because when we come together, we can do so much good.

To harness this passion, Dr. Jane and students from Tanzania created Roots & Shoots – and now, "Roots & Shoots is a global movement of thousands of passionate young people making a big impact."

To see how you can join them, go to RootsAndShoots.ca.

"I've always had this passion for wolverines, I don't know why," she told our team.

That was probably one of the reasons Dr. Jane enjoyed coming to Canada, but another reason was you. "When I think of coming to Canada," she also told our team, "I think of the people – the people that I'll meet."

They were treated for various ailments and illnesses. And with time, they were able to heal and recover – turning back into the fun, adventurous chimpanzees they were always meant to be.

This kind of recovery isn't possible without your support, though.

Every small step adds up to a world where animals, people, and the environment thrive together.

May her message continue to lead us forward so that, when we look back on our own journey, we can all say: "I did make a difference."

Just like Dr. Jane.
