Maybe this one is on us and by this they meant getting rid of all trans dignity and protections, they did just say they needed a new process, not a better one

That ambitious step is by introducing the two child benefit cap and cutting PIP to families with disabled people, that will reduce child poverty somehow surely

I checked out Labour's 2024 manifesto and of course it's full of broken promises and lies, one of the first promises is if you work hard then, regardless of who you are and where yo came from, you will have a "fair chance" in Britain. Guess this means being barred from toilets or loaded onto boats 🤔

On the other hand, a biological definition of sex would mean that a women’s boxing competition organiser could refuse to admit all men, including trans women regardless of their GRC status. This would be covered by the sex discrimination exception in section 195(1). But if, in addition, the providers of the boxing competition were concerned that fair competition or safety necessitates the exclusion of trans men (biological females living in the male gender, irrespective of GRC status) who have taken testosterone to give them more masculine attributes, their exclusion would amount to gender reassignment discrimination, not sex discrimination, but would be permitted by section 195(2). It is here that the gender reassignment exception would be available to ensure that the exclusion is not unlawful, whether as direct or indirect gender reassignment discrimination.

Got a reply from IPSO regarding the "gender terrorists" article, what a joke. Allowing blatant transphobia to endanger people because it was allegedly "hyperbolic" as if using very emotive and combative language in a national newspaper isn't going to sway people to transphobia

Taking these factors into account, the headline – which we considered in conjunction with the article as a whole - did not suggest that transgender activists are literal “terrorists”. Rather, this was being used in a hyperbolic manner to illustrate the writer’s position that “militant transgender activists” are using bullying tactics in order to achieve their aims.

This is the precise wording I got. At best seems like a lame attempt to shrug it off by saying that Beth is not a group of people when the definition they gave of discrimination sounds like the article was doing so, but maybe I'm having trouble understanding it

All this in mind, even while blocking out people their system has flagged as pro trans, they record a drop of only 7&8 percent for the questions "Should trans people be allowed to socially transition" and "Should you be allowed to legally change your gender" respectively
