When I was in law school, one of the doctrinal points drilled into my head by @tribelaw.bsky.social was "there are three co-equal branches of government."

The past months of Trump's defiance of judicial orders demonstrated that he is either too ignorant, too stupid or too fascist to understand.

When I wrote prior to ‘24, “I fear for the survival of our Republic if Donald Trump returns to the White House”, the current state of affairs in MN is what I feared.

Left to his own devices, Trump will impose martial law (the Insurrection Act) and destroy 250 years of the American experiment.
