Some preliminary points:
Trump is unlikely to succeed in a claim for defamation against the BBC (on information available).
Even if he succeeded, damages for this alleged defamation would be no more than about £50k, probably less. Even the worst libels, now no more than about £100k.
£1bn? No way.

That's why it took so long for anyone to notice they'd edited the speech.

Fixed price of 30p as long as someone else you're with buys something at full price. Deal?
They've still got to cover their fixed costs.

My whole childhood was a lie.
Or is it just misremembered and my mum wanted the extra hour lie in on a Monday when the clocks went back.... 🤔
Who knows. Ah well. It makes very little difference to my life overall.

I guess I just don't pay any attention to the time on a Sunday. 🤷♂️

Hang on... I am in the UK.
Do we not always change our clocks at 2am on a Monday?

There's a growing public swell of opinion that changing the clocks at all is daft, but that's kind of a symptom of moving from an agricultural biased to heavily industrial and service based society.

Yeah, always overnight Sunday to Monday. Used to drive my mum Mad cos she preferred to have the weekend to adjust to losing an hour of sleep before Monday morning, but my dad was fastidious about the clocks being right.

What a spectacularly weird headline.
I get what they're saying as I'm generally across the news, but it does read a bit like they just snuck in while we were looking the other way.

Oh, could just be they live in a very rural area.
Remember on a visit to a farmer in Sussex somewhere just bombing around in his landrover where he'd cut off the seat belts and put the clips in just so the alarm didn't keep going off. I guess driving laws are just for those city types.

They probably synchronise their wake up times over time. Hopefully not to the earlier point.

They must be on someone's insurance otherwise ANPR would have them fairly quickly.
Next door neighbour rammed into back of wife's car (when parked, no injuries) with no insurance and only a foreign license. Took months to discover previous owner just hadn't got round to cancelling their insurance.

OK... this is a mainly comedic account on social media. My comment was not intended as interrogation or accusation. Apologies if it seemed that way.
Also, replying to this post about noisy sex then telling us you're a single dad whose alone time is work? Damn mate, that's some noisy only fans wanks

Firstly it seems a big assumption that sound doesn't travel to someone's garden. Secondly do you not have kids? The idea of them actually staying outside and not coming in every 5 minutes to ask for something or other seems optimistic.

I think the point here was the child not being in the house.

Only child, is it? This seems like a great plan, but the irony is so often when people have 2 kids they're not more than 4-6yrs apart, so by the time the eldest is old enough for drop & go you're still stuck with the youngest.

I very much recognise that this is objectively rather funny, though the grandmother who (inexplicably) decided to stay for the karaoke did look quite shocked.
