I'm gonna make this my go-to bit until people who know nothing about soccer are using it.

Look, I know this is a pretty niche meme for this situation but it works so well.

Forget fines and tolls, this person shouldn't be allowed to drive *at all*. This is a deeply antisocial view of what constitutes "laws"—essentially, what I personally do and don't think is convenient—and nobody who thinks like this has any business commanding a ton-weight deadly weapon.

Come on what are we doing here.

I remember eye rolls about Washington’s farewell address from time to time, in part because it’s taught in terms of compromise being superior to partisanship for public welfare. But it was a lot more pointed than that on the danger of faction.

We need this. We need this so badly that we have to boil the ocean. Progress requires it.

Okay now. Would that be this Roger Corrado, who definitely does not need to drive in Manhattan for his job? www.ingalls.net/team/roger-c...

Bought after seeing a recommendation a couple months ago on this app (can’t remember who or when exactly now). BlueSky yet again driving pageviews for traditional media.

Just remembered that time that Charlotte Gainsbourg held what I can only assume is Tim Robinson's child in her arms in a music video.

Either my early vote envelope did not come with a sticker, or I mislaid the sticker while I wasn't paying attention. Sad! So consider this my sticker. It doesn't have the same jaunty affect, but it's something.

Oh I consider myself something of a scholar on the topic.

I am currently in Kansas City and this is in an incognito window. so it isn't geography or browsing history. These questions show up immediately after a single TripAdvisor result for a search for `big arena madison`.

Oooooof, that is questionable judgment.

I took photos of the halftime analysis of the England-Switzerland game from the studio team in Finland because it was so amazing to see. I didn’t understand a word of course but this stuff is totally unheard of in a LalasLand halftime show. We deserve better!

Listened to the @chrislhayes.bsky.social podcast episode with the author of this book twice. Second time I made @lauraolin.bsky.social listen too. So she got it for me as a gift. She’s the best.

To state the obvious: nobody is ever told this is why they didn’t get a job. What these fashy fucks are actually asking is “Did a woman or a Black or Latino person get a job you wanted?” They can’t wait to turn any personal grievance into a legal framework of revanchist bigotry.

Unlike the leading brands, this year-end list of my top musical artists of 2023 doesn't exclude an entire month of the year. Reject shrinkflation!
