Former fan here. Dude never reckoned with what he did. If he'd done so at the time, I'd read this article. As it is, I question the editorial judgment that led to its publishing.

I'm not surprised by anything they do. Portland's "paper of record" is owned by a media conglomerate based in NYC. OPB, Portland Mercury, and The Skanner are all superior local news outlets.
