My youngest is cramming for their chemistry final. The temp in the house is hovering in the low 60s. I made their favorite rich, rich soup: donuts2crumpets.com/2014/04/wisc...

I found a lady who saved hard book covers from her book page crafting projects. Lucky break! They're all antique and vintage with great inscribed graphics and gilding. They will be cut into hexagons for the Library of Babel series.

I heard a loud crash. For a moment, I feared it was an art work falling off the wall, but everything is out on display. Checked the house; must have been ice sliding off the roof.

I am deep into weaving tiles for the Library of Babel series. The first piece will be a 40" tall column vase called Tower of Babel. I'm spiraling 1" hexagons up the column in the color of brown leather-bound books. There will be a crimson hexagon too.
