The tax system is tilted towards polluters and the super-rich who are fuelling the climate & nature crisis.

They profit. We pay the price.

We can rewrite the rules so everyone has access to:
💡 Great public services
🌱 Clean air
💧 Thriving nature
🌍 A safe climate

These guys are one of the only voices in the UK economics/tax space campaigning for higher taxes on wealth.

They're asking for donations to keep doing this work.
We’re closer than ever to winning major tax reforms that could transform the economy for the many.

That’s why the greedy, powerful few are spreading hate and division... they want us distracted.

We’re in the fight of our lives. Chip in today so we can win it together 🤝

Just incredibly bleak that when a Labour government is finally in power, disabled people still have to wake up to front pages calling them a blight on society.

It's definitely quite striking to compare Bluesky and X side by side. I was painfully aware of the ads, algo-pushed content and filler clogging up my feed, with increasingly far-right content seeming to be in front of me. This is much lighter on the brain.

With farm owners protesting today over the prospect of paying a highly discounted inheritence tax, I'm sure you've seen quotes about how they "feed the nation".

But nobody is talking about the migrant workers who actually pick the crops on horticulture farms, so here's a short thread about them.

I have a lot of sympathy for farmers who do hard work in difficult circumstances.

But public services are crumbling, including in the countryside.

It's right to ask some of the wealthiest landowners to pay a bit more tax.
